Frederick Hatfield Memorial Scholarship

Frederick C. Hatfield, PhD, was co-founder of the International Sports Sciences Association and a world champion powerlifter. He embodied all of the qualities that we look for in our students. To honor his memory, we created the Frederick C. Hatfield Memorial Scholarship, which is awarded to one applicant each year.

The scholarship covers The Full Cost of Tuition*

for the Lionel University Associate Degree program.

The application deadline for students starting in Fall 2024 is June 30, 2024.

Fall Quarter 2023 Master's Degree Scholarship

For new and returning students beginning their Master of Science in Exercise Science Degree at Lionel University in the Fall 2023 Quarter. Students must start their first Lionel University Master's degree course between October 2, 2023 and October 6, 2023.

Up To A $2500

Scholarship Awarded Over 9 Courses


The application deadline for students is September 17, 2023.

For new students beginning their Master Trainer Certificate at Lionel University in the Fall 2023 Quarter. Students must start their first Lionel University Master Trainer Certificate course between October 2, 2023 and October 6, 2023.
